Andrea Bruno

Andrea Bruno was born in Catania in 1975. His comics have appeared in numerous Italian and international magazines and anthologies. In 2005, he was among the founders of the Canicola group, with which he launched the magazine of the same name. His books include: Sabato Tregua (Canicola, 2009 / Rackham Editions, 2012) and Cinema Zenit (Canicola, 2014/2016; new edition 2022 / Rackham Editions, 2016/2018).
He has collaborated with, among others, musician Vasco Brondi, cartoonist David B, and the Accademia Perduta theater company. His illustrations have appeared in the "New York Times Sunday Review." In 2014, he exhibited at the Centre d’Art Contemporain in Geneva.
He won the Micheluzzi - Nuove strade (Napoli Comicon 2000) and Best Artist (Napoli Comicon 2010) awards, the Lo straniero 2000 award, and the Gran Giunigi - Best Single Author (Lucca Comics 2007).
