The second edition of the A occhi aperti festival focuses on the relationship between bodies and environment.
It’s a theme that challenges our present and its contradictions: does the environment exist independently of us, or is our gaze that creates it? What balance can be created between us and what lies outside? How can this relationship be portrayed through art and illustration?
From the 13th to the 17th of November, artists from all over the world will explore this fragile balance in a series of showcases, meetups, roundtables, an animated movies programme in collaboration with Angoulême’s EMCA school, a comic reading roundup and a bookshop, showcasing some of the world’s best independent productions at Spazio DAS.
