Performance

A occhi aperti explores the contemporary through art in all its forms. The examination of the theme "adjacent worlds" starts off with drawing and will be celebrated in a program of musical events, performances, and live painting.

DAS presents Canicola X Maple Death
Preview of Opale, a three-year project of music, drawing, and storytelling curated by Maple Death and Canicola. A new series with two releases per year of vinyl records and illustrated albums. The idea is a synergy between languages, starting with composition and continuing through the various stages of writing and graphic design. A reciprocity of sound and pen strokes, vision and reflection, in a two-way creative osmosis. Music inspires the narrative through images, while drawing enriches the musical creation in a relationship given to reflections on the contemporary.

The evening includes a live performance by Venetian composer Blak Saagan and live painting by Majid Bita. Musical selections will be curated by Maple Death.
