collaboration between festivals
A occhi aperti, in the spirit of continuing the tradition of BilBOlbul, will unite its work with that of other festivals that enliven Bologna's autumn in creating an immersive experience that explores different languages, themes, and perspectives on contemporary art.
Bologna Jazz Festival has invited Sarah Mazzetti to create new jazz posters that will be on display in the streets of Bologna's city center. During the festival, the artist will share her story through twenty images that have marked her career (November 21, 5:00 p.m.).
New joint ventures with 24FRAME Future Film Fest take the form of two screenings dedicated to auteur animation and an evening of short films in support of the Palestinian people. First off, Gender Bender—with two presentations at DAS: Lee Lai's Cannon (November 3 at 6:30 p.m.) and Zuzu's Ragazzo (November 8 at 4:00 p.m.); and with La Violenza Illustrata for Nicole Claveloux's exhibition Mondi Accanto/ Adjacent Worlds.
