Artists that decide to escape their ateliers to meet and share a collective experience. Models that play along, interacting and almost challenging the participants to offer unexpected tips. An independent library that becomes a refuge after closing hours, the perfect place to dedicate oneself to art without any pressure. Evenings that become chances to exchange and know one another, during which talking and sketching follow each other spontaneously.

These are the elements of NudeDOODLE, a cycle of meetups curated by the printshop and library Inuit, born from a collective need: to meet in a welcoming environment to draw and be drawn together, to confront and share in a creative moment that is outside of the frenzy of daily life. It’s an approach to live painting that ventures beyond the simple anatomical or technical study, and becomes a true-to-form exercise in meditation. It’s a practice that invites to explore the act of artistic creation as a way to contemplate and observe the world.

The exhibit showcases, for the first time, sketchbooks and pictures conceived during these meetings as a result of months of collective practice. It’s a chance to peek into the sketchbooks of artists that have decided to diffuse the spirit of these evenings during which each and every person brings their own style with them, along with their experiences and ideas, contributing to the creation of a visual dialogue that enriches everyone.
