Ragazzo
Presentazione del libro di ZUZU
with Zuzu
chair Simonetta Sciandivasci
Following the success of Cheese and Giorni felici, ZUZU continues to explore and narrate the fragility of feelings and the complexity of relationships, the desires that make us fly and the fears that cage us. She does so with Ragazzo, a moving, delicate, and powerful choral tale about the anxieties of youth that continue to echo within us even in adulthood.
Andrea, a high school student, suddenly disappears without a trace, and around this absence unfolds the story of Francesco and Alice, who fall in love at school and seem already on the verge of losing each other. Alice may be the last person to have seen the missing boy at a party. And then there is Rita, Andrea’s mother. They say she is crazy, but perhaps she is just struggling to raise a child on her own. While the search continues relentlessly, on the streets and through appeals on television, their lives go on as if guided by a mysterious force.
