ZimmerFrei collettivo
The ZimmerFrei collective was founded in Bologna in 2000. Its members are Anna de Manincor (artist, filmmaker), Massimo Carozzi (sound designer and musician) and until 2019 as well Anna Rispoli (artist and director). ZimmerFrei’s practice combines different languages and ranges from documentary films to video art, sound and environmental installations, photographic series, performances, workshops and installations in the public space.

Domestic Exiles
In this video installation made in 2008 by ZimmreFrei collective, a long uncut shot shows empty interiors, moving from one room to the other as if in a continuous sequence. The rooms are empty, but someone is there, around the corner, just out of frame.
