Massimiliano Fabbri
Massimiliano Fabbri is an art critic and cultural promoter, as well as a painter. For years he has curated the activities of the Luigi Varoli Civic Museum in Cotignola, for which he conceived "Selvatico," a cycle of visual arts exhibitions. In 1996 he won the Giorgio Morandi Prize and in the same year held his first solo exhibition in Faenza, which was followed by other exhibitions in Lugo and Belluno (2000), Bagnacavallo (2001), Cotignola (2002 and 2004), Modena (2005), Florence (2006), Modena (2007), Ravenna (2008), Cesena (2011, 2012 and 2013) and Barcelona (2014). In 2014 he participated in Biennale Disegno Rimini. In his artistic work he is sensitive to the natural world: he combines human, animal and plant shapes with a deliberately imprecise painting, symbol of the contemporary impossibility to adhere to an ever fleeting reality.
