Ilaria Tontardini
Ilaria Tontardini is adjunct professor of History of Illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. Since 2005 she is a member of Hamelin, where she works on projects dedicated to comics and illustration. She works as a curator for BilBOlbul International Comics Festival, Ad occhi aperti and BOOM! Crescere nei libri.

Drawing a house, a seemingly simple action, is a complex operation. The works of Lisa Mouchet and Gabriella Giandelli - two artists different in nationality, age and style - finds common ground precisely in the representation of interiors and all those spaces (inhabited or not) that act as repositories of human traces, memories and presences.
